Dear Alice,

Thank you for volunteering at the DAY OF CITIZENSHIP WORKSHOP held Saturday, November 3, 2007. With your help, in just one day we were able to screen participants for eligibility and assist over 70 qualified immigrants in applying for citizenship. Additionally, another 30 residents received resources and information to apply for naturalization at a future workshop.

I was glad to have your legal expertise to identify potential citizenship red flags and potential legal barriers that may decrease participants' opportunity to become U.S. Citizens. In addition, with the introduction of the "Dream Loan Fund" on Saturday we were able to assist participants overcome the financial hardship posed by the higher $675 application fee.

Again, thank you for volunteering. We would not have been able to provide a community event of this magnitude without your support and assistance.
